Arf! Arf! Santa Claus is coming to town…Kids would surely love to see a doggy like me wearing a dog Santa costume with a matching dog Santa hat on. Like Santa Claus, I would be the center of attention. This would be the best holiday costume for me, great for a group picture taking with the kids and my dear master.
owners like my master love to have cute pictures of me. Why? She uses our picture together to make Christmas cards and send them to families and friends. The cards are deeply appreciated because it’s made personally by my master with all her heart.

That is actually the spirit of Christmas expressing and sharing love for each other in every way. Christmas is not about gifts. It’s about LOVE…giving gifts is just one way of showing how people show appreciate and love each other.
Christmas is not about the party either…It is about spending quality time together with family, friends and pets too! People are busy all the time and they consider Christmas as the most important holiday of the year. Why? People plan for it, and they make sure that they spend time with their family, keep in touch, and show their LOVE on this occasion.

Parents need to think about the age and maturity of a child before helping them select a first pet. Is the child ready to handle animal care chores like feeding a pet, cleaning up after it or providing exercise? Some small pets, like guinea pigs, birds and fish only need a nice corner of the house for their cage and some loving care, while dog and cats need more upkeep and attention.

Dogs, forever known as man’s best friend, are active companions and willing playmates for children, but require almost as much care as another child! Before bringing a dog into family, parents should consider the family’s schedule, yard space, and whether they are ready to pick up the slack should a child lose interest—or become too busy—to handle primary pet care duties. Some aspects of puppy care simply can’t be handled by a small child, such as house training and obedience class. Parents should be ready to train the dog, then teach the child how to handle the dog.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION FOR ANIMALS...

• Give your animal companions regular checkups—at least once a year—including dental care, and keep current with vaccinations.


• Feed your animal friends good-quality pet food (not human food), keep regular mealtimes, and go easy on the treats. Treats should be used only occasionally; you’re not doing your pet any favors by indulging him or her too frequently.

• Don’t neglect at-home health care; if your pet requires medication or other special care, give it as directed by your veterinarian. Brush your pet’s teeth, and keep him or her clean and well-groomed with regular nail trimming and coat brushing.

• Spay and neuter your pets, and keep them indoors or, when outside, on a leash or in a securely fenced-in yard. Never leave an animal chained or tied up outside by him- or herself. Keeping cats indoors will also protect the birds and other small outdoor creatures upon which cats prey.

• Keep bird and reptile cages and tanks clean and well outfitted with accessories to engage your animal’s interest.

• Give your pets plenty of attention. Animals left at home alone become bored and lonely; they can become destructive, and, as members of the family, they deserve better treatment. Provide regular play sessions, walks for dogs, and petting and or other appropriate interaction for all animals.

• Be prepared for disasters—fires, floods, storms, earthquakes, and the like. Have an escape or evacuation plan that includes your animal companions.
